Impact at a glance-to date

The United Way of Jamaica in partnership with the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) Council of Voluntary Social Services (CVSS), American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) along with other key stakeholders is aiming to raise $250Million to aid in Jamaica’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Fund will be targeting two critical areas – food security and health services – based on the expected impact of this unprecedented pandemic that has seen the sudden upheaval in the social and financial wellbeing of citizens across the country.

We need your usual support to ensure that our most vulnerable individuals are provided for during these challenging and uncertain times.

The PSOJ Virtual Run!

The PSOJ Covid 19 Virtual Run is scheduled to take place during the period July 14, 2020 – August 21, 2020. Races include 1.5K, 5K and 10K (run, walk, special Olympics and wheelchairs), 10K and 20K (ride). Individuals can sign up to participate by logging unto www.unitedwayofjamaica.org or myraceresult.com.

The virtual run promotes social distancing by minimizing contact and can be done at one’s own pace and leisure from anywhere in the world including on the road, trail, treadmill, or a bicycle trail. How to register:

Step 1: Go to the homepage and click on the Virtual Run graphic it will take you to my.raceresult.com

Step 2: Complete registration information. You can also add an additional donation to your registration fee if you choose.

Step 3:When a club or company signs up, a voucher code will be provided.This code should be entered when individuals from that club or company sign up.

Step 4:You will be taken to the Waiver/Indemnity page to check the relevant boxes.

Step 5:  Make your payments via PayPal or Bank transfer(persons with voucher code will skip this step.)Then proceed to confirm registration.

Step 6: A Registration confirmation email will be sent. Ensure you save the confirmation email as it has the link to upload your time when you have completed the race.
